Hey there!  My name is Ingrid Denda, and I want to thank you for checking out my blog.  I’m not a Musician, Manager, Booking Agent, Promoter or Music Publicist.  What I am is a music lover, avid concert goer and music seminar groupie. And, as my day gig, I am an experienced Financial Advisor and a Certified Financial Planner professional with one of Canada’s largest firms providing wealth management solutions.

In 2016, I decided to combine my passion for music and my passion for providing financial advice and founded thewealthymusician.ca, to help promote a better understanding of the basics of personal finance in the music industry.  Unless you are multi-millionaire artist, your personal financial needs may be overlooked, which can lead to mismanagement and misguided advice.  The music industry is complex enough.  If you add cash flow challenges, banking issues and taxes, it becomes even more daunting.

This blog is intended to be a space where I share some stories, give musicians and others in the arts some great ideas and offer helpful tips that I pick up at music seminars.  By providing you with some sound financial guidance, my hope is to get you on the right track to achieving your goals by making smart decisions along the way.
