Indie Week Part 2
Another awesome Indie Week 2020 session I attended was the one hosted by Dave Cool (yes, that’s his real last name) from Bandzoogle. If you don’t have a website for your music, you need to check Bandzoogle out. It’s a platform created by musicians for musicians and is so simple to use that even I could probably do it.
You own it all. The address, the experience, mailing list, and the data. You can earn more by selling direct and becoming tighter with your loyal fanbase that loves you and supports you by keeping in touch and providing ways to engage them in exclusive events. You can sell merch and tix to live streams (with a tip jar!)
There are tons of templates and 3 different options to choose from. Lite, Standard and Pro, and they are all very affordable, ranging from about $10 to $20 a month, and you can try it for free. You don’t necessarily need to be a musician to use it either, as it’s available for other businesses to use.
Draw a triangle folks, and then add some lines inside. The bottom compartment is streamers. The top smaller compartment is your most loyal fans who you get your “white glove” experience and exclusives. Your VIF’s (very important fans). These are the folks you want to connect with the most, and Bandzoogle is a great platform to do that on. For more information on Bandzoogle, here’s the link.
